A dialogue between tradition and sophistication to match the cuisine at the Cinc Sentits restaurant in Barcelona. This was the basic concept to develop the entire project, commissioned to us by Jordi Artal, founder of the Michelin-star restaurant.
The idea is the fragmentation of the space and the use of organic, natural materials combined with darkened mirrors to increase the space visually.
In order to break up the uniformity and geometric depth of the restaurant and take advantage of its generous height, copper-coloured aluminium curtains were carefully hung to trace sinuous lines which visually unite the tables.
With all these ingredients, the Cinc Sentits restaurant becomes a sophisticated space that combines its current values with tradition and roots.
