Guarro Casas (Fedrigoni Group)

Guarro Casas has commissioned us to redesign their corporate identity.
With over 325 years of papermaking tradition, Guarro Casas is a benchmark in the creation of high-quality papers for the editorial and packaging sectors. These are papers that add value and help transmit sensations in design projects.
We use a sans serif, geometric, and pure-form typography for the logo. Formally, it harks back to the first half of the 20th century when these typographic families were used in modernist signage and even the luxury of art deco.
The logomark represents a rolled paper forming a letter "G", being the first letter of the naming. The construction of the logomark follows the spiral of the golden ratio.
We also create the copy "Papers makers 1698" to emphasize the brand's expertise and long history.
We propose the random use of different types of papers for corporate pieces.
